House of Land

“In the past, building a house required land with clay soil. Clay was dug and bricks were made and fired on site, leaving behind a pond. An entire ecosystem grew around this pond, nurturing the settlement. The house and the pond, inextricably linked, represent the simplest yet most sustainable model for human habitation.”
