Oil and vinegar bottle
Designed & made by Marve Riisalu
“The hand-blown oil-and-vinegar bottle brings back memories of childhood and the ingenuity people put into handmade objects. When I was growing up, our family dining table always had vinegar in a small square bottle, oil in another bottle, and mustard in an artistic little glass jar that shops used to give away when you bought mustard. My mother kept unrefined sunflower oil in the bottle. My father could not stand it at all, but she used it to make Berlin salad for us.”
